Treasurer's report: $11 275.74
Clinics: Apr 30/ May 1; Taylor Douglas
18 people (3 groups of 6), 4 hrs per day per group.
$400.00; $350.00 for members, plus $ 25.00 per night for a stall.
Riders may bring a second horse at no extra cost to ride in the same time slot as the first.
There won't be extra time or cattle given for the extra horse.
Estimated cost: $6,082.00. There will be no NAERIC money this year. We need to apply by
June 1 for next year.
Motion by Larry, seconded by Cam, that we go ahead with the Taylor Douglas clinic as
proposed. carried.
Mark is having a clinic at his place May 23. More details to follow.
Judging clinic: Jim Hyde offered to do the reining and working cow classes. Perhaps Tracy
McClintock would do the cutting. To be held at a venue in Winnipeg when Jim is in town.
It will be free to the participants as long as they are willing to judge one of our shows this or
next year. Mark will contact people who may be interested and they will find a coordinating
date.
Motion by Larry, seconded by Ken: That the CCHA buy 3 judging DVD's:
NRCHA Judges Rules and Guidelines
NRHA Judging Fundamentals
NRHA Maneuver Evaluations
We will make copies, keep the original and sign out the copy for a fee that will be returned
when the video is returned to CCHA. Mark will be in charge of this.
Shows: Motion by Amy, seconded by Cam: That we have a show June 4 at the Keystone Centre
in conjunction with the AQHA show. carried

Score sheets: Motion by George, seconded by Donna: That we adopt the NRCHA score sheet format.

Discussion: There is a timer for sale on Kijiji for $500.00. Should we consider buying it if it's still
available? It was generally felt that the stopwatches work well since we don't have to time
into tenths or hundredths of seconds. They are also easier to store and transport.
Discussion: Should we be putting money into the NAERIC Ranch Hors Versatility Show? It was generally felt that we should be putting this money into prize money for our own shows. This
needs to be reviewed annually.
